Another reason to keep your subscription: Netflix added another accolade to its long list of marvelous content on Wednesday. With over 1.7 billion watched hours within the first 91 days, the first season of the modern adaptation of The Addams Family holds the top spot on the list of the most popular TV shows in the English language.

Over the past five years, I've discovered most of the TV shows I've watched through internet memes on Facebook and Instagram. I was at work scrolling through my phone when I saw a meme of Wednesday. It sparked a quick search on Google, and I learned that legendary filmmaker Tim Burton worked on this show. That was all I needed to know to binge-watch this show.

After the first episode credits rolled, I had just seconds before Netflix was about to start the second episode, and I hit the pause button for minutes of reflection. I knew this show would be one of my favorite shows on Netflix. With that, I continued my binge-watching. Join me as I analyze this show and discuss why this Netflix blockbuster is a must-watch.
