I Accidentally Deleted All the Words in a Draft
It was just another typical day. I was working on my next article for Medium, about to add the finishing touch and submit it to a publication, when a terrible accident happened.
I was typing something and accidentally pressed a button, which caused all my words, title, subtitle, and cover image to disappear instantly. I was left with an empty draft space with only a YouTube video link. I couldn't believe what had happened. I opened Medium on another tab and searched for my draft, but it was nowhere to be found. I kept typing Ctrl+Z to undo the recent actions, but I had no luck. I was extremely upset.
This can happen to anyone. Don't panic; you can retrieve your work just like I did. Even if you exited the window, don’t worry.
Ensure you are still in your draft where everything was deleted. It should be the top one on your draft list section.
