8 Easy & Effective Steps to Learn Japanese

This is how I learned the language

The Japanese language is spoken by 125.1 million people worldwide. The Japanese culture is renowned for anime, manga, video games, tourist attractions, art, cuisine, and martial arts. As my sibling and I grew up, we were exposed to this culture through animes and live-action series dubbed in English. Hence, in my mid-20s, I started learning Japanese and practicing a little bit every day.

As of writing this article, I am a beginner in Japanese who understands basic grammar and some common phrases and words. I would love to have you join me in learning Japanese.

This article focuses specifically on speaking Japanese. You are encouraged to learn the writing systems, which will significantly help you, but let’s focus on learning to speak it first.
