According to Babbel, Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world, with more than 485 million native speakers. Spain and Latin America's history, culture, cuisine, art, music, and more attract tourists and non-native speakers who have been learning the language. Spanish is also the most taught second language in US schools.

As of writing this article, I am an intermediate in Spanish. I started my journey of learning Spanish at the age of 16. Most of my high school classmates were from South America and the Caribbean. Hence, Spanish was the most spoken language in my high school. When I started learning, I would watch YouTube videos and read tutorial articles online when I had free time, but at 26, I started taking it seriously, practicing 10–15 mins a day. I would love to have you to join me. The practice of writing and reading Spanish is highly encouraged. It will help you a lot. If you are an English speaker, learning Spanish will be easier because there are many similarities between Spanish and English. Even if English is a Germanic language and Spanish is a Romance, Romance sources influenced a portion of the English language and vice-versa. So, let's begin.
